About Marisol

Marisol Rodriguez is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in personalized care. She helps patients reach their goals through compassionate support and a holistic, person-centered approach.

Marisol began her medical career over 22 years ago as a medical assistant. Once she became a registered nurse, she understood the link between a hospital patient’s physical health and mental well-being. She studied at Southern Connecticut State University, where she earned her degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed, and Board Certified in Connecticut.

Marisol learned about the positive effects of medical marijuana in her work with cancer patients, chronic illness and pain patients, people healing from trauma, or those suffering from depression or anxiety. She understands how the rollercoaster of good and bad days can deplete your energy and motivation. Marisol also understands that many patients are looking for ways to treat their symptoms naturally and eliminate the need for added prescriptions.

Marisol helps her patients use medical marijuana to help alleviate pain, control nausea or vomiting caused by medications and chemotherapy, relax muscles, and reduce inflammation to help with neuromuscular conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and even slow tumor growth. She also uses medical marijuana with patients who want to process trauma, manage anxiety, reduce panic attacks, and break out of depression so they can participate in the world again.

Her patients report reduced symptoms and enjoy the private, empathetic space Marisol provides to share their stories. Marisol is fluent in Spanish and English and is ready to help you reduce or eliminate pain and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression to reach your goals and live the life you deserve.
